Prof. Harford is from Los Angeles, California and is a PhD candidate in electrical engineering at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI). Research focus is on desalination brine mining using electrostatic methods.
In the United States, taught mathematics and worked on rockets for a small space company in the Mojave Desert.
Traveling abroad led to interaction with engineers and scientists. He points out: “These conversations became my passion, because we are not only sharing the English language, but ideas, perspectives, theoretical constructs, and experiences”.

Classes are held in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere where students are encouraged to share their passions for STEM topics, make mistakes, enjoy learning and sharing ideas, and develop confidence in their English abilities to build a future worth getting excited about!
